Welcome to Prana6. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
Prana6 creates custom, made-to-order fragrances based on individual scent profiles and, optionally, olfactory receptor analysis. Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and older.
2. Products and Services
Custom Fragrances: Each fragrance is uniquely formulated based on the customer's scent profile questionnaire and, if selected, DNA-derived perception data. No two formulas are the same.
Optional DNA Analysis: The DNA analysis is an optional add-on. It involves the collection of a saliva sample, which is processed by a certified third-party laboratory. The analysis is limited to olfactory receptor markers only. It is not a medical, health, or ancestry test. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how genetic data is handled.
3. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Payment is processed at the time of order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Quiz-based orders (no DNA): Ship within 1–2 weeks of order completion.
- DNA-enhanced orders: Require approximately 4 additional weeks for saliva kit shipping, return, and lab processing, after which the fragrance is formulated and shipped.
Shipping times are estimates and may vary. Prana6 is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
5. Custom Products — No Refunds
All Prana6 fragrances are custom, made-to-order products. Because each bottle is uniquely formulated for a specific individual, we are unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. This applies to both quiz-based and DNA-enhanced orders.
If your order arrives damaged during shipping, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@prana6.com and we will arrange a replacement.
6. DNA Kit and Sample
If you purchase the DNA analysis add-on:
- You are responsible for providing an adequate saliva sample using the kit provided.
- If a sample is insufficient or unusable, we will ship a replacement kit at no extra charge (one time).
- Your saliva sample is processed by our partner lab and destroyed after analysis.
- Prana6 does not perform genetic testing. We receive only anonymized perception ratios.
7. Formula Storage and Reorders
Your custom formula is saved in our system and can be reordered at any time without retesting. You may request full deletion of your formula and associated data at any time by contacting us.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Prana6 website — including text, images, design, logos, and formulation systems — is the property of Prana6 and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
Your custom formula is created for your personal use. The formula itself remains the intellectual property of Prana6.
9. Not a Medical Service
Prana6 is not a medical, diagnostic, or health service. Our DNA analysis examines only olfactory receptor markers related to scent perception. We do not provide health information, genetic counseling, ancestry data, or any medical claims. Our products are cosmetic fragrances, not therapeutic products.
10. Limitation of Liability
Prana6 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order. Fragrances are for external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
